Technical Description of StemEnhance™
 StemEnhance™ is a blend of two compounds (concentrated) extracted from the cyanophyta Aphanizomenon flos-aquae (AFA). These compounds are extracted using a proprietary process that utilizes no chemicals or harsh agents.

StemEnhance™ Ingredients
 One extract, which contains an L-selectin ligand, supports the release of stem cells (CD34+ cells) from the bone marrow. The other extract, a polysaccharide-rich fraction named Migratose™, may support the migration of stem cells out of the blood into tissues. 

How does StemEnhance™ work?
 When you take two capsules, the ingredients help to support the release of stem cells from the bone marrow into the bloodstream.  Through a natural process, those stem cells then travel to areas of the body where they are most needed.

StemEnhance™ Triple Blind Study
Effectiveness of StemEnhance™ was demonstrated in a triple-blind study. Volunteers rested for one hour before establishing baseline levels. After the first blood samples, volunteers were given StemEnhance™ or placebo. Thereafter, blood samples were taken at 30, 60 and 120 minutes after taking the consumables. the number of circulating stem cells was quantified by analyzing the blood samples using Fluorescence-Activated Cell Sorting (FACS). How does StemEnhance™ affect the immune system

1.      StemEnhance contains a polysaccharide fraction that was shown to stimulate the migration of Natural Killer (NK) cells out of the blood into tissues. The same polysaccharide fraction was also shown to strongly stimulate the activation of NK cells. NK cells play the very important role in the body of identifying aberrant or defective cells and eliminating them. NK cells are especially known for their ability to detect and destroy virally infected cells and cells undergoing uncontrolled cellular division.

2.      The same polysaccharide fraction was also shown to stimulate macrophage activity. Macrophages constitute the front line of the immune system. They first detect an infection or the presence of bacteria or virally infected cells, and they then call for a full immune response. They call for backup!

3.     The immune system is the main producer of free radicals and inflammation in the body.  Therefore, the fact of “stimulating” the immune system carries the possibility of increasing oxidative stress and inflammation in the body.  The effect of AFA consumption of the ability of neutrophils to produce free radicals was tested.  To our surprise, consumption of AFA actually slightly reduced the ability neutrophils to produced free radicals.

4.      StemEnhance contains a significant concentration of phycocyanin, the blue pigment in AFA.  Phycocyanin has strong anti-inflammatory properties and therefore can assist the immune system.

5.      StemEnhance also contains chlorophyll, which is well known for its blood purifying properties.

StemEnhance™ support several aspects of immune function while reducing the production of free radicals. As such, StemEnhance™ is not so much an “immune stimulant” as an “immune balancer.”

Contradictions
Those with bone marrow disease should consult their physician before taking StemEnhance™. Also, like vitamin E, StemEnhance™ tends to naturally keep the blood thinner, so those who are taking blood thinning medication would want to check with their physician about making necessary adjustments

Recommended Dose
