In most cases your water ionizer will work just fine on your existing water supply. However, for those customers who live in an area with poor water quality or have a particular concern about certain substances in their water, specialty filters that have been designed to efficiently remove a wide variety of contaminants in your water without removing the minerals needed to ionize your water as it passes through your water ionizer.
