CRYSTAL QUEST® Triple Housing Fluoride Removal Water Filter System is built to last for years. These water filtration systems are easy to install and you have the option of choosing a countertop or undersink unit. They are stylish, convenient, and effectively removes FLUORIDE and many other contaminants from water.

Seven (8) Stages of Filtration
Each of these systems provide the same filtration capacity. They have the same three cartridge filters. When taken together these three filters purifies your water through eight stages of filtration.

In stage 1, water travels through a solid carbon cartridge for removing volatile organic carbon compounds (VOC's, insecticides, pesticides and industrial solvents).*

In stage 2, water travel through a FLUORIDE REMOVAL cartridge. Containing synthetic Aluminum Oxide adsorbant media. Specifically designed to have a high affinity for Fluoride, Lead and Arsenic. It removes metals through a mixture of adsorption and chemical reaction with the media, therefore, the elimination is not reliant on ion exchange. It has uniform particle size, is physically stable and can be used over a wide pH range. Capacity: 4500 ppm Fluoride (Avg. 1000 to 1500 Gallons) .* As high as 11000 ppm F+ with effluent levels below 0.2 ppm from 10 ppm F+ feed.* This filter also effectively removes lead and arsenic.

The next filter cartridge is the 6 Stage SMART filter cartridge which include the following stages

In stage 3, water flows through pre one - micron filter pads (1 micron equals 1/25,000th of an inch), which remove suspended particles such as silt, sediment, cyst (Giardia, Cryptosporidium), sand, rust, dirt, and other un-dissolved matter.

In stages 4 and 5, water flows through a bed of media made of a special high-purity alloy blend of two dissimilar metals - copper and zinc (ERA-6500, ERA-9500). ERA-6500 and ERA-9500 are major advancements in water treatment technology that works on the electro-chemical and spontaneous-oxidation-reduction (Eagle Redox Alloy®) principles. Chlorine is instantaneously and almost inexhaustibly oxidized. Tests on KDF/GAC cartridge have shown 99+% chlorine removal past 20,000 gallons of water. In comparison, carbon cartridges of comparable volumes drop below 90% effectiveness after only 4,000 gallons.

In stages 6, water flows through ion exchange resins, reducing heavy metals such as lead, copper, aluminum, and water hardness.

In stage 7, water flows through granulated activated carbon (GAC). GAC is universally recognized and widely used as an effective adsorbent for a wide variety of organic contaminants, such as chlorine (99.9%), chemicals linked to cancer (THM's, benzene) pesticides, herbicides, insecticides, volatile organic compounds (VOC's), PCB's, MTBE's and hundreds of other chemical contaminants that may be present in water causing bad taste and odors in your drinking water.

Countertop Installation 
The Crystal Quest Mega filter is quick and easy to install. follow these simple instructions>

Check your thread type	outside threads: no adapters needed	Inside threads: select which adapter to use

1. Remove aerator from your faucet on which the filter will be installed

2. Determine the type of threads on your faucet. If your faucet has outside threads then no adapters should be needed.  If your faucet has inside threads then you will need to select the correct adapter and washer and screw then into the faucet and tighten manually. The adapters included with your Crystal Quest Mega filter will fit most faucets.

3. Screw the diverter valve onto the faucet, turning swivel collar to tighten. Make certain that the gasket is positioned securely between the diverter valve and the faucet or adapter. Rotate diverter valve stem to desired position. The swivel color may need retightening.

4. Turn on the water then turn the diverter handle to send water to the filter system.

5-Micron Carbon Block Filter Cartridge

The 5 Micron Carbon Block filter simultaneously removes chlorine, bad taste and odor, and organic chemicals that contribute to taste and odor, while providing the particulate filtration and dirt-holding capacity of an efficient 5µm nominal sediment filter. The extrusion process allows the production of a carbon block with more carbon, but a lower pressure drop. This premium Carbon Block filter, delivers extended life, while removing sediment, chlorine, bad taste and odor, and organic contaminants from water, aqueous solutions or suspensions. Carbon Block is also widely used in filtering organic solvents.

Crystal Quest Multi Stage PLUS Filter Cartridge

Crystal Quest Multi Stage Plus filtration cartridge - is constructed with the following levels one-micron filter pad, ERA-6500, ERA-9500, GAC, ion exchange resin, and another one-micron pad. Removes many contaminants* from your drinking water. Used for low flow such as countertop and undersink applications.

It can be easily back washed. Semi annually back washing of the unit not only ensures balanced filtration and eliminates the potential for channeling, but also back-flushes the unit.

Washable Pre-filtration Filter. Specially designed for use with any kind of water system with an unusually large amount of sediment that can clog up the water filter. This pre-filter helps remove the sediment, thus enabling your filter to work more efficiently and extend the lifetime of filters. It is installed between the water filter and the tubing. No tools are necessary for installation. Filter elements are easy to replace. Inside is a fine stainless steel filter and an FDA approved 4 micron filter that is easy to clean out.
